Great Taste Judge’s Comment 2023:

”An attractive, traditional Pastel de Nata with beautiful lamination in the pastry and visible flecks of vanilla in a well set custard. The judges could taste the vanilla and were impressed by the fact that this is a vegan product …. it was an excellent tart.  There is a warming vanilla aroma coming from this tart, which is well crafted with a good ratio of filling to pastry”.

”A really clever vegan product. The pastry is inspired, multi layered and still crispy with a buttery mouthfeel. The flavour of the filling is really commendable and we’re sure a vegan would be delighted to have one of these with a coffee in the morning”.
